Broadly speaking, Social Democrats prevail in areas with an Orthodox, Bektashi, and non-religious majority, whereas Conservatives come to the fore in areas with a Catholic majority. While both political parties are observed in Sunni-Muslim settlements, one would not be mistaken to state that Conservatives predominate.
